yay! u did it! now u know that my blogs are more than a picture and a title.

now, todays topic is plating.

I literally had to study art to feel comfortable plating. I mean, cooking is nice and all, but using the elements that u have to create an interesting artwork is difficult. its a collage, a painting, a plate of roasted cauliflower.

But Panchito, I don’t study arts! what can I do to get better at plating? D:

WELL WELL WELL. Firstable. U might already study arts if u are reading this, secondable, we all are creative, but we think we are not creative or skilled “enough” and that’s bullshit.

just trow it on the plate. its gonna look like shit. then do it again until its not.

look at what others do, and try to understand why.

inspire yourself, look around u and try to recreate what u see, over the plate

Art imitates nature (and nature imitates Panchito)

Have fun! if ur guests are afraid to eat what u plated, then u have bad guests. Seek for the ones that are supportive, amazed and inspired of your creativity.
